2021 - Master Artist - Sarah K Glaser
In the plaque that accompanies her mural, Sarah states that, " To the Alutiiq people, subsistence is life." The word subsistence is not easily translated, but encompasses obtaining and eating wild foods but also it speaks of the native people's deep connection to the land.
