2007 - Master Artist - Dot Bardarson
In 2007 a group of Seward's parents came together to plan a playground for the town's children. Coalescing as "P.A.R.K.S" (Parents Advocating Recreational Kids Stuff), the group raised money for the community to accomplish this project. Hundreds of local people were involved in the construction of Seward's amazing waterfront playground the following year. This mural of runners ascending our local, renowned Mt. Marathon, allows kids to climb the wall in full view of the mountain.
