KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK

2008 - Master Artist - Ed Tussey

The majesty of Kenai Fjords National Park is portrayed in stunning detail in this mural by renowned Homer, Alaska artist, Ed Tussey.  This project, the most detailed mural in our collection, welcomes visitors as they enter town and stop by Seward's Chamber of Commerce to collect information on local sights and activities.
When the park gained the status of "National Park" in 1980, tourism began to fllourish in Seward. Tourists  flocked here from the "Lower 48" and abroad to witness the grandeur of Resurrection Bay, Exit Glacier and our abundant flora and fauna.
