1999 – Master Artists – Jennifer Headtke and Jeannie Shirk
This, the first mural painted by the newly formed, Seward Mural Society, takes the form of an old scrapbook. Sepia colored photos of a bygone era show the hardy folks who built their lives and the town-site into the unique community of Seward Alaska. The town is shown at the time of its establishment as the southern terminus of the Alaska Railroad in 1903.
